About Us
The original concept for the business was the brain-child of my
late life-partner, Elric who passed away in 2007. We were part of
a group of Viking re-enactors, as well as, jewelry makers and
found the viking wire knit as something to demonstrate at
re-enactment events. We were surprised to find that people
really liked what we were making and wanted to wear it
themselves. Slowly we started making our jewelry available,
when were rather abruptly given the opportunity to rent a booth at
the Ohio Renaissance Festival. Four weeks later we started our
first Renaissance Faire season - what a ride!
The name of the business comes from Elric's dream that this
business would be a reality, so I named the business in his honor:
this truly is A Viking's Dream.
